Sakura-Con 2027: dates, venue and where to stay

Sakura-Con 2027 takes place March 26–28, 2027 at the Seattle Convention Center Summit building (900 Pine St), per the official organizer. Our 2-bedroom apartments in downtown Seattle are a 3-minute walk from the Seattle Convention Center and sleep 5–6, so a team can share one place.

Sakura-Con 2027 at a glance

Sakura-Con 2027 brings anime and Japanese pop-culture fans, cosplayers and artists to downtown Seattle. The organizer has published these details:

  • Dates: Friday, March 26 to Sunday, March 28, 2027, per Sakura-Con.
  • Venue: Seattle Convention Center, Summit building. Registration and badge pickup are in Summit, Flex B&C.
  • Badge pickup hours (subject to change): Thursday March 25 12 PM–10 PM; Friday and Saturday 6 AM–10 PM; Sunday 8 AM–12 PM. Sakura-Con says all badges must be picked up by noon Sunday.
  • Memberships cover all three days and are sold online only; there are no on-site sales.

Why a 2-bedroom near the convention center

Cosplay groups need space: a second bedroom, a living room to finish a costume, and an in-unit washer & dryer for the morning after. Thursday badge pickup opens at noon, so arriving Thursday lets your group pick up badges before the Friday crowds.

All three have a full kitchen and an in-unit washer & dryer, and each is professionally cleaned after every stay. Check-in is from 4:00 PM.

Getting there
