★ 4.91 · 160 reviewsGame weekends in Seattle: Seahawks, Mariners and Kraken
From our apartments in downtown Seattle, Lumen Field (Seahawks) is about 1.2 miles, T-Mobile Park (Mariners) about 1.5 miles and Climate Pledge Arena (Kraken) about 1.3 miles in a straight line. Link light rail from Westlake, a 7-minute walk away, runs to Stadium and International District/Chinatown stations for the stadiums, and the Seattle Center Monorail from Westlake reaches Seattle Center in about 2 minutes.

Three teams, three venues
Seattle's major-league venues sit on two sides of downtown:
- Lumen Field, home of the Seattle Seahawks (NFL), south of downtown in SoDo. About 1.2 miles from our building in a straight line.
- T-Mobile Park, home of the Seattle Mariners (MLB), just south of Lumen Field. About 1.5 miles.
- Climate Pledge Arena, home of the Seattle Kraken (NHL), at Seattle Center north of downtown. About 1.3 miles.
All distances are straight-line from 1400 Hubbell Place, measured from OpenStreetMap coordinates. Our building is in the middle, so one base works for all three.
Seasons and schedules
- Seahawks: the NFL regular season runs in the fall and winter. Our events calendar lists 2026 home dates, and the official schedule is on seahawks.com.
- Mariners: baseball season runs roughly April to September. Home series and giveaway days are on mlb.com/mariners.
- Kraken: the NHL season runs roughly October to April.
Schedules change with TV slots and playoffs, so always confirm dates on the team site before you book.
Getting to Lumen Field and T-Mobile Park
The simplest route is Link light rail:
- Walk about 7 minutes to Westlake Station.
- Take a southbound 1 Line train to International District/Chinatown or Stadium station.
- Walk to the stadium. Expect crowds after the final whistle; trains run frequently, but platforms fill.
Some fans walk the whole way: Lumen Field is roughly a 30-minute walk and T-Mobile Park roughly 40 minutes by our estimates (straight line × 1.25 at 3 mph). Sound Transit publishes 1 Line first and last train times if you are heading back late.
Getting to Climate Pledge Arena
- Walk about 7 minutes to Westlake Center, where the Seattle Center Monorail departs.
- Ride about 2 minutes to Seattle Center, per the monorail's FAQ; trains normally leave about every 10 minutes, more often during peak service.
- Walk to the arena through Seattle Center.
The Space Needle is at Seattle Center too, about 1.0 mile from our building, so a pre-game visit is easy.
Driving on game day
Parking near the stadiums is limited and expensive on game days, and traffic is slow before and after. If you drive into Seattle, our building has garage space for compact cars on request (SUVs do not fit). You can leave the car there and use light rail or the monorail. See downtown parking.
A full game weekend
